Welcome to Black Wolf Ranch in the Mission Valley, one of Montana's most scenic valleys! We are located in Saint Ignatius, on the Flathead Indian Reservation, 45 minutes north of Missoula on the way to Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park. Our ranch was established in 2001 by Wendy and Bret and is a lifelong dream of Wendy's. Once we decided to become involved with alpacas there was no doubt that quality would be the ranch focus. We are dedicated to preserving the value and integrity of alpacas and are committed to breeding for quality fiber, confirmation and character. We are working with several international fiber experts to improve the quality of fiber in the United States and are excited to educate buyers on the quality of alpaca fiber and garments.
